The GCCO is a unique organisation. We are building power in local congregations, associations and neighbourhoods so that our communities have the capacity to bring about the civic renewal in Grimsby and Cleethorpes that all the citizens would like to see.

We are a politically-neutral, civic society organisation.
We are focused solely on one aim: building common ground around issues of common concern, for the common good of us all.

To this end, we identify, develop and mentor local leadership, organise constructive solutions to shared problems, and build the bonds of trust that are necessary to live a good life in a strong community.

We welcome everyone who shares our vision, regardless of who you vote for, where you live in town, what you do for work, or what gives you meaning in life.
